Individual Task #3 for CST/IST 2

1. Define the term ‘moral integrity’
I define the term ‘moral integrity’ as the strict adherence of someone’s values.

2.) Describe why Maximillian Kolbe is regarded as a Christian of exemplary moral integrity.
Maximillian Kolbe is considered to have exemplary moral integrity as he did exactly as Jesus taught. To think about others before yourself. Like Jesus, Kolbe sacrificed himself for a man wo had a wife and children.
3.) Outline Maximillians ethical actions/principles that he demonstrated in Auschwitz.
The ethical actions that Kolbe demonstrated were thos of sacrifice, and following the most important of the ten commandments, One love another, as I have loved you.

4.) Evaluate whether you think he made the right decision and provide research to support your answer. i.e. Catholic teachings.
I believe he did make the right decision, as he did what Jesus asks all of us to do, and more. Catholic Teachings that back this up include the Ten Commandments, the Gospel, and generally what is taught to us at a very young age, to care for other before ourselves. As mentioned before, Kolbe followed the most important Commandment, he also did as Jesus asked us to do, to forgive others and make sure we put other before ourselves.
